Art for Justice

Home : News & Events : Art for Justice

On Friday 28 October, we held our inaugural Art for Justice fundraising event at the Art Gallery of South Australia.

JusticeNet has been serving the South Australian community for over 14 years as the state's pro bono legal clearing house. JusticeNet is primarily funded on fundraising efforts and private philanthropy.

JusticeNet's Pro Bono Connect and Homeless Legal services depend entirely on this support to cover operational expenses.

In 2021, JusticeNet assisted over 570 people through its programs, conservatively generating $5 million worth of legal work for disadvantaged South Australians.

JusticeNet's model ensures that the people most in need are those getting assistance and that the impact of investment is multiplied at a ratio of approximately 1:10. For every $1 raised, $10 of legal work is performed.
